Heather Whitaker is a career and decision-making coach who helps women navigate the question: What do I want my work and life to look like now?
Many of Heather’s clients are mothers who have reached a career crossroads. They may be deciding whether to stay in their current role, pursue something new within corporate, step away from the workforce, begin consulting, explore entrepreneurship, or create a path that better supports their family and the life they want to lead.
These decisions are rarely only about work. They can also involve identity, financial security, ambition, caregiving, fulfillment, confidence, and the expectations women carry about what they should do. Heather creates space for clients to separate those expectations from their own wants, reconnect with what matters most, and make a decision they can trust.
Her coaching combines values alignment, Human Design, strengths and aptitudes, Internal Family Systems-informed parts work, and practical action planning. Depending on the client’s needs, sessions may focus on:
Heather typically works with clients through a focused three- to four-session coaching experience. Clients can mix and match the areas they want to explore so the process reflects their specific decision, circumstances, and season of life.
With more than 20 years of corporate experience and six years of coaching experience, Heather understands both the practical realities of navigating a career and the personal transformation that often comes with redefining work after motherhood or during a major life transition.
Both& partners with Heather Whitaker Coaching to support women who are navigating career crossroads and deciding what they want their next chapter to look like.
Clients referred through Both& can work privately with Heather through a focused three- to four-session coaching experience. The process is personalized and may include evaluating whether to remain in a current role, pursue a new corporate opportunity, step into consulting or entrepreneurship, or create a different relationship with work altogether.
Heather helps clients look beyond what they feel they should do and understand what they genuinely want, what matters most in their current season, and what fears or internal patterns may be making the decision more difficult. From there, clients develop a practical path forward that considers their career goals alongside motherhood, family, financial needs, identity, and personal fulfillment.
Heather’s role is not to tell clients which path to choose. It is to help them understand themselves more clearly, strengthen trust in their own decision-making, and take the next step with greater confidence and agency.
