Helping ambitious working parents navigate career and family with clarity and intention—so they can thrive in the lives they’ve worked so hard to build.

I’m a clinical psychologist and executive coach who helps ambitious working parents navigate the intersection of career, family, and identity with clarity and intention.

After years working in academia, I left Harvard to start my own firm dedicated to supporting working parents through life and career transitions. My work now spans individual coaching, corporate consulting, and group programs — all designed to help people find alignment between what matters most and how they live, lead, and work.

Many of my clients come to me at a crossroads: returning from parental leave, stepping into new leadership roles, or considering whether to pivot, pause, or even step away altogether. They often ask, Who am I now? and What does ambition look like for me in this season? Our work is about answering those questions with honesty and compassion — disentangling societal expectations from personal values and helping each person define success on their own terms.

Through one-on-one coaching and my group, Ambitious Mothers Mastermind, I help women move from perfectionism, people-pleasing, and burnout toward a more grounded form of ambition — one rooted in alignment, self-trust, and purpose. In organizations, I consult on leadership development and working-parent programs that foster sustainable success and belonging for caregivers at every level.

My approach blends evidence-based psychological insight with practical coaching tools. Clients describe my style as warm, thoughtful, and clarifying — a mix of deep listening, powerful questioning, and gentle challenge that creates meaningful change.

In addition to my clinical and coaching work, I’m the author of Ambitious Mother: How to Thrive in Your Career and Motherhood at the Same Time (Bloomsbury, 2026). Through writing and speaking, I aim to shift the conversation about ambition, success, and working parenthood — helping individuals and organizations imagine new, healthier models of growth.

Because ambition doesn’t have to mean doing it all — it can mean doing what matters, with intention

"TL;DR: you need this in your life. This program is truly unique in that it gives women permission to explore their career, family and personal ambitions at once vs forcing women down the path of compartmentalizing as their work selves vs mom selves, etc. ...This is the type of program that you could never regret putting your time or money into, you will only regret not doing it sooner.""

Both& and Dr. Anne Welsh

Both& and I share a commitment to helping working parents and the organizations that employ them navigate career and life transitions with clarity, compassion, and intention.

Through our collaboration, I work with individuals and teams who are asking meaningful questions about what comes next:

  • How do I balance ambition with my family’s needs?
  • What does a sustainable version of success look like in this season?
  • How can workplaces better support parents to thrive, not just survive?

For individuals, I offer one-on-one and group coaching that blends psychological insight with practical strategy. We explore identity, ambition, and alignment — helping parents move through transitions such as parental leave, career pivots, leadership growth, or decisions to pause or change direction altogether. My goal is always to create space for honest reflection and intentional action.

For organizations, I provide consulting and programming that support both working parents and the leaders who manage them. This includes manager training, parental leave and return-to-work toolkits, and leadership development workshops that help build cultures of empathy, sustainability, and belonging.

Both& brings together a community and resource hub that helps normalize these conversations and make support accessible when it’s needed most. My work complements that mission by offering a deeper, more personalized level of coaching and corporate partnership — connecting insight to real behavior change at both the individual and systemic level.

Together, Both& and I are helping parents — and the organizations that depend on them — redefine ambition, balance, and success for a modern world.
